Project 3 - Development of Music and Performing Arts Centre

Our group has gone with curves for this project which resembles the coastline sanddunes. I had started with dome shapes and moulded the shape into above. The curves and free flowing of the form in this building suits the use of the building being Music and Performing Arts Centre.

EXISTING VEGETATION

The existing vegetation consists of native australian plants, trees etc. We would look to continue this theme throughout our master plan

WIND DIAMGRAM
The harsh south westerly winter winds were the most noticeable. The north westerly in winter are alos quite strong at times however are note as cold. During the summer winds tend to come from the north in the morning and swing to the southeast during the afternoon. On a hot day the southeast wind is welcomed because it normally drops the temperature significantly.
