AM WINTER SHADOW

We used the winter shaddow as we want to reduce the amount of shade during the winter months and increase natural sunlight in the designated open areas.

CONTROVERSIAL OVAL ABOUT

By providing a second point of access for the new school it will releive the pressures already impacted on grossmans road. A round about is a free flowing alternative.

AERIAL PERSPECTIVES
The blue object resembles the area alocated to classrooms and the like, the green space is alocated for a sports centre and the red is admin. The blue area will be divided up into an arts/technology centre and teaching classrooms. The form will obviously change throughout project 3.

This diagram show that even later in the day the open space as idicated by the grey rectangle still remains sunny.
